Umbra – Sources and image versions

The source is the supplied Umbra User Handbook 0.4.10 dated 8 September 2026, with 18 detailed chapters, 15 tables and 16 figures. The web edition retains its topics and option choices. Links replace printed page numbers, and model names have been removed from operating instructions.

The 39 style options and operating logic were checked against the supplied Umbra source and installed files. The reviewed settings, style and colour files match. The test installation’s package manager reports 0.4.17; later skin additions are explained from their documented versions through 0.4.23. Availability on your feed depends on the package version.

Additions to the original manual

All 16 original figures are retained. Historical receiver captures carry their version descriptions. Palette, layout, channel-row and recording-colour comparisons are calculated illustrations using sample data. They are neither extra skin modes nor new receiver captures.

The 14 new TV captures show seven views per GUI language in FHD. Capture dialogs did not save style values, export a pack or install packages. The original skin and language were restored afterwards. The reviewed Umbra configuration plugin retains German labels under English Enigma2; the English chapters explain those controls fully.

The images show interfaces and example values. They do not establish complete compatibility with all plugins, channels, weather services or devices. Logos, programme artwork and metadata remain attributed to their respective providers.
