Umbra – Weather in the top left

Weather in the top left (Wetter oben links) offers four modes:
| Mode | Presentation |
|---|---|
| Off | No Umbra weather requests. |
| Current | Weather icon and current temperature. |
| With daily values | Additional values for today. |
| With 5-day forecast | Upcoming days with weather symbols and minimum/maximum temperatures. |
The weather overlay appears at the top left with the full Infobar. It stays hidden without a valid location or data. If only forecast data is missing, the compact current-weather display may still appear.
| Local weather option | Input and effect |
|---|---|
| Weather location (Wetterort) | Location name, for example Hamburg. |
| Weather coordinates | Longitude, latitude, using decimal points. Hamburg example: 9.99302,53.55073. Do not reverse the order. |
| Provider | Open-Meteo or MSN. Availability depends on the provider and the OEA interface. |
| Temperature unit | Celsius or Fahrenheit. |
These fields appear in the Infobar section when weather is enabled. If both location and coordinates are empty, Umbra reads an existing Metrix weather configuration when available. When entering a custom location, supply the matching coordinates as well.
The package enigma2-tools-weatherinfo is an Umbra dependency. Location data is sent to the selected weather provider. Local weather values are excluded from exported style packs. Requests use a cache instead of running for every rendered frame.
The historical picture shows Hamburg example data. The new settings capture also uses Hamburg as an unsaved example. Weather availability and future forecast values cannot be inferred from a historical screenshot. The Lite Infobar intentionally omits the full Infobar’s weather overlay.
