Umbra – Style packs and personal overrides

A style pack contains a coordinated set of appearance values. Your personal overrides take precedence. Switching packs does not delete them. This lets you retain a favourite colour while trying another layout.

Included pack Character and main defaults
Umbra Graphit Default: Graphite palette, gradients, medium TV visibility behind details, standard menu width and classic Infobar.
Umbra Cinema Carbon palette and clearly visible TV behind details. Video/audio information and menu clock are off. Status icons remain independently controlled.
Umbra Petrol Petrol palette, cyan progress colour and extended channel rows.
Umbra Klar Carbon, solid surfaces, no TV showing through behind details, 105% text, wide menu and wide progress indicator.
Umbra Galerie Petrol and channel gallery. Cover in the Infobar and EPG, panorama in channel details where e2MDB and suitable data are available.

Vom Stilpaket follows the selected pack. It does not copy its present value permanently into your override. An empty custom RGB field also means inheritance. The help for the selected row shows its pack value.

For example, explicitly set progress colour to Gold, then choose Umbra Petrol. Progress stays Gold. Changing that option to From style pack adopts Petrol’s Cyan. Yellow resets all style overrides together.

Changing a pack does not change the OSD resolution. Weather location, coordinates, provider and temperature unit are also local settings and do not travel with a style pack. A transferred pack can therefore retain the same appearance without taking another user’s location or display resolution.
