e2MDB – Read database and queue status

Open e2MDB → MENU → Blue/More… → DB status and maintenance. Green refreshes the display. Blue/Run cleanup and OK/DB maintenance are actions that change data or start work.
Interpret database counters
Section titled “Interpret database counters”| Display | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Database size | Size of the SQLite database file. WAL files and artwork use additional space. |
| Free in DB | Allocated database pages available for reuse, not free HDD space. |
| Imported files | Files registered by the scanner; not a guarantee of completed provider data. |
| Media records / browser ready | Built records versus entries ready for display in the Media Browser. |
| Provider pending or missing | Records not fully enriched yet; expected during a scan. |
| Artwork with/without images | Image availability, separate from title recognition. |
| Live/EPG and queue | Active, expired and waiting events; counts can change after cleanup. |
Under load, some queries may be incomplete temporarily. A dash or unknown value is not zero. Refresh again after the job before deciding on maintenance.
Worker queue
Section titled “Worker queue”Use More… → Live/EPG worker queue to inspect waiting, running, completed, failed or unmatched events. Reset, clear and retry buttons change state. They are not needed just to read the queue.
A job can be technically complete and still contain individual errors or no-match outcomes. Read the summary, failures and missing-artwork counts in addition to the completion state. The scanner screenshots intentionally retain their real job summary rather than illustrating a guaranteed error-free library.
“Prefill complete” may describe candidate collection while the provider worker is still busy. Conversely, imported files can be waiting for enrichment and therefore absent from browser-ready results. These are different stages of the same process.
