Set up and save EPG

The EPG is the electronic programme guide. It shows information about current and upcoming programmes. Available data depends on the programme information being provided and the source in use.

Use the assigned programme guide button or an offered EPG action. OpenATV provides several views, including a single-channel list, multi-channel overviews and graphical timelines.

Changing the view changes how existing data is displayed. It does not generate missing programme information.

Menu → Setup → EPG → EPG Settings

Other entries in the EPG menu configure individual views. If the section is missing, check the settings mode.

The other EPG source switches visible in the example do not all need to be enabled. Their use depends on the services and data available through your reception setup.

  1. Check that the channel can be received and leave it tuned for a while.
  2. Compare another channel. Providers do not all supply the same amount of information.
  3. Check the date and time if programmes appear at incorrect times.
  4. If you use an additional EPG importer, check its sources and settings separately.
