CableScan: all eight settings

Menu → Setup → Tuners, Scanning & Reception → Cable Scan opens the additional CableScan module where installed. It reads tables from a compatible cable provider. General automatic and manual DVB-C scans remain separate methods.

Up/down selects a row; left/right or number keys change values. OK starts scanning and saves its configuration. The Save action saves settings; EXIT/Cancel closes the dialog. Labels can vary with skin and key assignments.

The automatic variant waits for standby; it does not create an independent cron job. Do not assume that this option alone guarantees wakeup from deep standby. Complete one successful manual CableScan first, then enable automation and account for recordings.

If the provider or its tables are unsupported, use its parameters with a normal DVB-C scan. For no results, check input, lock, entry frequency, QAM, symbol rate and network identifier first. A DVB-C/T2 hybrid input must receive the cable source during the scan; see the SPAUN example.
