MetrixHD – fonts and colours
Fonts and readability
Section titled “Fonts and readability”Menu → Plugin Browser → MyMetrixLite → Font settings

| Section | Used for |
|---|---|
| Font Examples | Prepared combinations as a starting point |
| Fonts included in the image | Base roles such as LCD, replacement, console and fixed-width text |
| Fonts included in the skin | MetrixHD roles such as Regular, RegularLight and SetrixHD |
| Generally; Screens, Plugins | Individually supported text and headings |
| EPG, Channellist, Movielist | Lists, programme information and descriptions |
| Infobar, Moviebar | Information bar text |
Font type selects a font file. Font scale [%] changes its size relative to the intended value. 100% is the respective base size. Increase gradually and check long channel names and descriptions. Scaling does not add layout space; oversized text can be clipped. Individual font roles only affect screens that use them.
Colours and layers
Section titled “Colours and layers”Menu → Plugin Browser → MyMetrixLite → Color settings

Color Examples loads prepared combinations. Quick Setup adjusts the left and right areas. Further groups control menus, window titles, InfoBar/Moviebar, clock, weather, buttons, scrollbars and skin design.
Layer A is the main layer; Layer B is the secondary area. Foreground usually means text or symbols, while Background is the area behind them. Transparency allows underlying content to show through. Check selected rows as well: ordinary text, selected text and the selection bar have separate colours.
Graphical/vertical EPG, channel selection and the EMC movie list have additional colour groups. Keep status colours, such as recordings or unavailable channels, distinguishable.
Save the section and choose Apply changes in the main window. Back up a useful appearance before larger changes using Backup & Restore.
