MetrixHD and MyMetrixLite

MetrixHD draws the interface. MyMetrixLite is its configuration plugin. It controls the appearance and additional information displayed by the skin. Reception and networking have their own settings.

Menu → Plugin Browser → MyMetrixLite

If the entry is missing, check the installation of MetrixHD and its configuration plugin in plugin management. General Skin Selection chooses a skin; MyMetrixLite customizes this skin’s details.

Restore a saved appearance Backup & Restore my settings in MyMetrixLite
  1. Open a configuration section and change the intended values.
  2. Choose Save there. Cancel discards changes in that dialog.
  3. Back in the main MyMetrixLite window, press Green: Apply changes. This generates and loads the customized skin.
  4. Wait for completion. The inspected version can reload views directly; follow a restart prompt if your version requires one.

Some options take effect immediately and say so in their description. If saved changes are not visible, first check that you selected Apply changes and that MetrixHD is active. Defaults resets a section’s values; it is not a Back button.

Yellow backs up, Green restores and Blue deletes the selected backup. These buttons have different actions in the main window. Open original image ↗

Choose My Backup Number and a recognizable description. The plugin offers up to 99 backup sets. Check the number and description before restoring. This backs up MyMetrixLite settings; it does not replace a full image backup or backups of channel lists and recordings.

This guide is device neutral. Screenshots use OpenATV 8.0 and MetrixHD in HD. Supported resolutions, installed skinparts and extensions determine which additional fields appear.
