Skin dictionary — widgets, XML and attributes

Search here when you know an XML name but not which reference it belongs to. The same spelling can have different meanings in different contexts: compare font on a label with font in a list template, or foregroundGradient on a widget with that field inside a template.

For the two common tasks, start with underline on labels and template text or keep the last value column clear of the scrollbar.

The dictionary combines every central handler and native widget in the pinned inventories, their renderer/converter/GUI component classes, each recorded direct or inherited Python attribute handler, source classes, and the documented structural/template contexts. Each result leads to its matching reference. Central attributes and structural contexts include syntax and XML examples; class-specific results lead to the owning class’s contract, including its constructor and skin parsing. Some class-specific entries still need further editorial examples.

This is a dictionary of the documented OpenATV core snapshot, not a promise to know every third-party plugin or dynamically generated attribute. A name’s presence does not imply it is valid on every widget. Deprecated and compatibility names are hidden initially; enable the checkbox to find their migrations. Context-specific current names remain visible even when the central spelling is deprecated.
