Synchronise picture and sound
First establish whether audio is early or late. Use a known recording or sync test with a clear visual/audio event. A problem on one service only may originate in that source.
- Temporarily reduce unnecessary TV picture processing, which can delay video. Keep the TV mode consistent for comparisons.
- Check the route: receiver → AVR and receiver → TV → ARC can have different delays.
- Note existing receiver, player, TV and AVR delays. Adjust one place at a time.
- Change the relevant control in small increments. Positive audio delay makes sound later; it worsens already-late audio. Negative values are not implemented equally by every playback path.
- Recheck PCM, a supported Dolby track and service switching.

Which delay?

An optional AudioSync plugin can provide finer global or per-service adjustments. Its menu depends on the installed version; it is not required for the two native general delay controls. Account for saved per-service corrections before changing a global value.
If the offset keeps growing during playback, investigate timestamps, stream, player and buffering. A fixed millisecond correction cannot permanently compensate for continuing drift. Player troubleshooting.
