e2MDB – Select prefill channels

e2MDB: Select prefill channels
Native MetrixHD view. Test values are examples. API fields are covered with black bars; real credentials were not changed. Open original image ↗

The prefill channel list selects whose existing EPG events should receive extra metadata. It does not tune a receiver or download programme listings.

  1. Open e2MDB, press MENU, then Yellow/Prefill channels.
  2. Press OK on a bouquet to open its services. The display shows selected and total counts.
  3. In the channel view, OK toggles an individual channel, Yellow deselects all and Blue selects all. At bouquet level, Yellow and Blue apply to the relevant bouquet.
  4. Press Green/Save. Concentrate on channels whose EPG is maintained.

A partially selected bouquet is valid. A channel may appear in several bouquets, so the unique total is not necessarily the sum of all visible rows. Disable Use zap history if the selection must remain strictly manual.

The same channels need programme data from DVB reception, EPGRefresh or a correctly mapped import source. Only then can e2MDB prefill upcoming events. Saving this selection does not automatically update EPGRefresh’s separate selection.

Under Blue/More…, Run Live/EPG prefill now requests work, while Prefill status / diagnostics shows its state. An active job or retry suppression after missing EPG may delay another attempt.

Ignored title patterns, service-name patterns and folder-name patterns have different purposes. Their effect depends on the processing path. For a deliberately limited prefill run, explicit channel selection is more reliable than assuming a name pattern filters every background path.
